The transfer doesn't appear in public records yet. But Scott Skinner, NRP's vice president of development, confirmed in an interview that the long-simmering deal is done.
Trees recently were cut down on a site on the southern side of Center Ridge Road near the west end of Rocky River. The tree-cutting clears the way for a planned four-story building with rental multifamily suites to go up later this year.
The NRP Group and a joint venture formed by Silver Hills Development and Edwards Communities expect to build more than 600 apartments near the Cuyahoga River, on long-fallow land in the Flats. The Cleveland City Planning Commission gave its blessing to both projects Friday, Feb. 4.
