The city of San Antonio has revised its proposal to return $50 million in unanticipated CPS Energy revenue this summer, but most of the city council doesn’t seem to be in favor of it. Instead, many council members want to see what else it could be used for with suggestions for weatherization, climate change protection and new funding mechanisms for sustainability.

Comal County Commissioners on Thursday will consider approving change orders for Annex and sheriff’s office renovations in their final meeting before Judge Sherman Krause presents his 2022 recommended budget next week. On the backburner are proposed boat ramp rules changes out at Canyon Lake, which haven’t been forgotten, Krause said. “I don’t know if we have another workshop planned but we’re still working with law enforcement to get their input on what they would like to see and what they need to enforce the rules,” the judge said. “All of that will go into what we end up with.”
