This is in response to Edward Wilmot's Jan. 13 letter, "Show compassion for the homeless."People do show compassion for others in need. But people aren't stupid, either.Mr. Wilmot wrote, "Too bad the homeless don't have enough money to hire their own lawyer." Let's see. It's winter. Fall has passed.
