Gloria Bill was on her way to Alicante to stay with friends when she suffered a fatal stroke on the plane. In the 20 months from her death to the inquest, her family had not been told exactly how long into the two hour flight from Bournemouth, Dorset, Mrs Bill lost consciousness. Her husband Michael Bill raised questions as to whether his 59-year-old wife could have been given emergency treatment sooner had the plane diverted to another airport.
