Kaziba: SC Villa must avenge Express FC defeat because derbies are for winning

“Tomorrow’s [Wednesday’s] game is a derby, and everyone on my team both the players and coaches know how momentous it is to win it,” Kaziba told the club’s official website. “Given that we lost in the first round, tomorrow [Wednesday] gives us an opportunity to pay them back in the same currency. Derbies are for winning: We come into tomorrow’s derby to win.” After sealing their passage to the Round of 16 of the Uganda Cup, Kaziba has maintained the 3-0 win against Ndejje University FC as spurred on his players and they are well motivated for the fixture against the Red Eagles.

Kaziba: SC Villa will not take things for granted vs Vipers SC

As they seek to make it three wins in a row, coach Kaziba has cautioned his players to avoid looking at the past and get ready for a real battle against a very good side.  “Last season, we won this exact fixture [away to Vipers] but that does not mean we take things for granted,” Kaziba told the club’s official website ahead of the match. “We are surely building on our good record away to Vipers but we all know football is not static, we will deploy new tactics in order to neutralize new threats.” Villa managed a 2-2 draw in their last league match and coach Kaziba has explained they have recovered well from the match and are looking in good shape to face the champions.

Vipers coach Fred Kajoba plots to unleash the Shaban-Yunus Ssentamu attacking tandem on to the hosts’ suspect defence that swallowed three goals against Police on Wednesday.
