Website vacation inquiries are currently at 169% higher than the same time in 2019, and their sales have outpaced the same time frame in 2019.
AAA Northeast s Managing Director of Travel Sales Chuck Nardozza says they re also seeing prices 40 to 60% higher than they have in the past due to demand. A lot of people have been quarantined for over a year and they haven t been able to travel. The landscape is different, the booking patterns are much different, Nardoza said.
