And the the reason this was part of the decision was a woman, a High School Junior and did a walk out. In 1951. That walk out capture the attention of the naacp attorneys in richmond. And they agreed to come meet with Barbara Johns and fellow students and their parents. But that decision led the naacp to take up the case and file a lawsuit on behalf of those residents and made it to the Supreme Court.
