Lingering snow showers down south. Those seem to have fallen apart. A good deal of sun this morning. High clouds thicken ever so slightly during the afternoon. Its not going to affect the High Temperature all that much. Temperatures in the low to remid40s here during the day today. Right around the time were driving home, a few clouds around. Now lets talk about the drive to work. Lets get out and check the i25 commute. C470, you know, we had a rollover crash at 8th avenue, and its cleared from the drive. It was a pretty bad wreck. We saw the picture of car sitting on its top. The commute is not affected as we get into the thick of things because its out of the way. Transitions toward the dtc will prove to be an 8minute commute. Right near parker road, tamarac, dtc, stretching 10 minutes. Today two parker families are mourning the loss of their children. They died after falling through the ice on a rentention pond. One of them died earlier this month. The other just yesterday. 9news reporter noel brennan has been following this. Noel one of those teens will be laid to rest today. Thats right, corey. 16 yearold patric lanz will be laid to rest today. His service will be held at saint thomas more Catholic Church in centennial at 1130 this morning. Last night, Parker Police announced the death of a second teen max gantnier. Max had been in the hospital for nearly two weeks. He was one of two survivors pulled from an icy retention pond in parker back on january 14th. Cole robinson was the first to be rescued and was released from the hospital. Patric lanz was underwater for at least thirty minutes. He died at the scene. All three boys went to legend high school. The Douglas County School District crisis team will be at the school today to offer support for their classmates.

Looking for the suspects wanted for these crimes. They have released a brief suspect description. In the first incident, the victim reported a man about 6 feet tall with a hat with ear flaps on it. In the second incident, the victim reported a man about 6 feet tall with a hoodie. There are increased patrols around the du campus and the search is on for whoever is responsible. We had a problem with your microphone, but i think we got most of that. A Police Officer credited with saving one of the boys who fell through the i see pond in parker shared his story today. The officer is a threeyear veteran of the department. When he got to the intersection, he only saw one boy. As he ran to the i see water, he used a cut tree it was 15 feet long and reached out to the i70 both passed away. It is difficult to process. I mean, i am extremely happy that one made it out of the water, but your heart is broken for not being able to help the other two. Reporter the to find the other two students. Pat
