we ve had some pretty good rain showers during the overnight and early-morning hours. we continue to see rain across much of the region. not so much off to the east but right around our area, we are seeing it. we want to start with one of our radar images where we can show us what happening out there. you can see the spin in the atmosphere. there are some heavier rain showers off to the north and a few off to the west, just to the west of the district as well. and again, as we put this in motion you will see that eastern maryland, southern maryland, you are not getting much of anything but right around here, we are getting plenty. let s go to hd radar. we can show you across the region another look at this. we ll continue to have rain showers through the morning today and if you are not getting rain right now, you will probably get more shower activity later on today with the way this system is moving across the region. right now, reagan national airport is reporting light
