Shut down the roadway. Theyre scouring the scene looking for clues and collecting evidence. Residents who live nearby didnt hear the accident but horrified to see the aftermath. They tell us they saw it and sent chills down their spine. So his kids could have also a good education. Tonight he wants everyone to learn from his own mistake. I feel bad i dont want kid. Reporter jose nunez was driving this school bus. He picked up a few kids dropped them off to a lawrence daycare this morning. Jose tells fox 25 he thought that all of the kids got off of the school bus. But a 5yearold boy was left on the bus. One mistake the little boy fell down to sleep and i look back i thought that he went to school and i went home and that happened. I feel so sorry about that. Reporter a passerby on prospect street saw the boy on the bus. During the 911 call you could hear the little boy crying. Hes very upset. Upset i think he was alone maybe for half an hour. Single father of two ages 5 and 7. Im a father and i dont feel so good about it. Reporter says this was genuinely a mistake. So today is not my day because i love kids and i love my job.
