The Caucus for Democratic Governance, Ghana (CDG-GH) is worried about the Culture of Silence, in spite of political turbulences characterizing the events before, during and after the 2020 elections.
We are of the view that :
1. As long as the basis of strategic operations of this government is projected in a system of State Capture and on the principle of tribal, nepotistic “cum” family, friends government ;
2. As long as the President becomes a clearing agent for corruption and other offences ;
3. As long as conflict of interest is not relevant in the distribution of sensitive appointments to cronies ;

A member of the Constitutional, Legal, and Parliamentary Affairs Committee of Parliament, Rockson Dafeamekpor is accusing the police of abuse of powers in the “Rambo style” arrest of a journalist, Mr David Tamakloe.
Mr. Tamakloe was allegedly arrested at gunpoint by National Security operatives on Thursday over claims of false publication and taken to the Airport police station.
In an interview with
Citi News, Mr. Dafeamekpor, who is also the Member of Parliament for South Dayi said the action by officials to arrest and detain the journalist until after Monday, is inhumane and smacks of abuse of police powers.
