These debuts mark the first launch of spot cryptocurrency ETFs in Asia, coming just three months after the U.S. introduced its first ETFs to track spot bitcoin.
The global cryptocurrency m-cap rose marginally by 0.08% to around $2.37 trillion in the last 24 hours. Bitcoin was up 0.2% at $64,331 as of noon, while Ethereum was below the $3,150 level.
In the last 24 hours, the m-cap of Bitcoin rose to $1.311 trillion. Bitcoin s dominance is currently 53.27%, according to CoinMarketCap. BTC volume in the last 24 hours fell 3.2% to $24.26 billion.
Approximately every four years or every 210,000 Bitcoin blocks, the reward for miners is halved, leading to a reduction in the rate of new Bitcoin issuance. This event, known as halving, serves to curb inflationary pressures and maintain the scarcity of Bitcoin over time.
