MT. MORRIS TOWNSHIP, MI The Westwood Heights Schools Board of Education has placed Superintendent Peter Toal on non-disciplinary paid administrative leave pending the results of an investigation.
Board members unanimously voted to make the move following a closed session during a Feb. 26 special meeting. Toal’s suspension went into effect Monday, March 1.
The school district and board is not providing comment on the situation outside of the current suspension, according to a district spokesperson. No timeline was placed on the length of the suspension.
