Aggressive, violent parents to be banned from schools in Victoria
Parents in Victoria can be banned from entering their children s schools if they are aggressive or violent, under a new law introduced today.
Under the law, principals will be able to issue school community safety orders to parents, carers and other people who engage in threatening, harmful or abusive behaviour.
Such people could be stopped from entering school groups or other places where school events are taking place.

They could also be banned if they engage in threatening or abusive communication on social media. No one should be threatened or intimidated at work or at school, Acting Premier and Education Minister James Merlino said.
