As someone whose work consists primarily of covering HomeKit and smart home products, I never thought that a garden would ever appear on my radar. Sure, I knew that intelligent gardens were a thing, and I had considered them before since I lack a green thumb. Still, with Apple s limited HomeKit accessory categories and stringent requirements, I just assumed that they would never be a good fit for my platform of choice.
