No one injured in Edinburgh fire

Courtesy-Edinburgh Fire Dept. EDINBURGH, Ind. – The Edinburgh Fire Department was dispatched to a house fire at 509 High School Drive, just after 3 p.m. on Saturday. While en route, crews were notified that there might be a child inside the home but that turned out not to be true. Engine 41 arrived with heavy smoke and flames showing from the residence. Firefighters initiated a primary search and gave an “all-clear” as to anyone in the house. Emergency crews knocked down the blaze which was primarily located in a rear bedroom area. However, there was smoke damage throughout the home. No injuries were reported and Edinburgh fire authorities have not given an estimate of damage.
