Production vans lined Morrison Street ahead of filming for the six-part drama, which is based on the Trainspotting novelist s 2008 Filth sequel. One member of the production team confirmed to the Glasgow Times that Crime was being filmed at the location before adding, It s going to be big . Dougray Scott spotted in Glasgow s Wyndford filming Irvine Welsh series

A HOLLYWOOD star was spotted in a Glasgow scheme today filming a new series based on an Irvine Welsh book. Desperate Housewives and Mission Impossible:2 star Dougray Scott was captured on camera in the Wyndford today, which is being used as a location for the upcoming Britbox series Crime.  Dougray, who has appeared on our screens for over 30 years, stars in the Trainspotting author s first TV show.  A sequel to the James McAvoy-starring Filth, Crime follows the story of Ray, a police officer recovering from a mental breakdown.

THE crew on a new TV series based on an Irvine Welsh book were spotted filming in a Glasgow scheme today.  Shooting is underway for the six-part drama, which is based on the Trainspotting novelist s 2008 Filth sequel, titled Crime.  The show is an adaptation of Welsh s 2008 novel Crime Reader Thomas Bradley sent in pictures of the crews, who he said had been set up in the Wyndford since this morning.  The series will be Edinburgh-born Welsh s first work to be adapted for the small screen, after a number of successes with films.  It follows on from the story of Filth, which was adapted into a film starring James McAvoy
