Hunters were founding that Hurricane Matthew had rapidly strengthened so they put out a special update on it. 100miles per hour winds making it to a category two hurricane and now expected to be a category three or major hurricane by the evening before it makes to the turn to the north this weekend. This is a time stamp here about sunday evening. We dont have to worry this weekend, this will be near jamaica early monday to be evening, expected to be in the bahamas. And we are keeping a close eye on it. Some of the models are starting to shift a little bit to the west. Most take it over the eastern portion of cuba but one or two are sneaking closer to the floridas east coast. We will keep an eye on it. The main concern is when it makes the turn to the north. And while we think we have passed the peak of hurricane season, that was september downward spiral where 60 of all storms form in this area. And we get another bump in late october as well. Shelby breaking news right now. Nine people are hurt after a car hit a group of people at a concert in a local park. Shanice dunning is live in Parma Heights with the breaking details. Police are calling it an accident because she hit the gas when she meant to hit the brake. Hitting nine people, so in the hospital with minor injuries and broken bones but one person is in serious condition with a brain injury and spinal fracture. This accident happened at happens weekly at this park. This driver was getting ready to leave when she hit the gas instead of the brake. Backing up, she did hit nine people. Now, three of those people, including the driver, were treated here and released. But six of those other people taken to the hospital with their injuries. One in serious condition again. A 2 00 advisory. A special update from the Hurricane Center came down because Hurricane Matthew strengthened rapidly overnight when they flew the Hurricane Hunters into, a category two hurricane. This is the 5 00 a. M. Update, came in about an hour ago. Still expected to strengthen to a category three major before making this righthand turn heading due north toward jamaica, early monday morning passing over the eastern portion of cuba. By wednesday, we will be talking about this for almost a full week. At that point, it will be looking like the its going to stay off the florida east coast. But let me show you something.
