Shelby breaking news right now. Nine people are hurt after a car hit a group of people at a concert in a local park. Shanice dunning is live in Parma Heights with the breaking details. Reporter sh, commons park in Parma Heights. Can you see right hind me, where it happened. You can still see the dance floor this 74yearold woman drove into. Police are calling it an accident because she hit the gas when she meant to hit the brake. Hitting nine people, so in the hospital with minor injuries and broken bones but one person is in serious condition with a brain injury and spinal fracture. This accident happened at happens weekly at this park. This driver was getting ready to leave when she hit the gas instead of the brake. Backing up, she did hit nine people. Now, three of those people, including the driver, were treated here and released. But six of those other people taken to the hospital with their injuries. One in serious condition again. The police told us that the driver said she was shaken up after the incident and said she was leaving after she didnt feel well. Take a listen to what they us. She did say she wasnt feeling well. Thats why she left a little bit early. So we spoken to her for a little while but it appears it was an accident. She made a mistake with the gas and the brake. Reporter and were told this is a well attended event and its been over the summer, about a hundred people were here tonight. On older crowd, so people in their 60s and 70s. Reporter Massillon Police say on saturday night, a man ambushed his exgirlfriend and her boyfriend while they were sitting in a car parked in his driveway. He was killed. He died in the car. Reporter the woman was life flighted to akron hospital where she died during surgery. Shooter drove back to in jacks township, where he attempted to take his own life but fade. Police took him to a hospital. While the investigation continues. Gina remembers seeing the victims outside from her yard. They were just normal little couple and didnt bother anybody. Next morning a house without windows revealed the inside of a home where childrens toils could be seen in the doorway and family pictures still hanging prominently on the living room wall. On the west side a cleveland man found dead afterir police are investigating this as a murder because fire crews say they suspect arson. Detectives say the victim is a 46yearold man and his name is frank salamone. It happened the near west 85th 85th street. Police arrested the victims girlfriend. Police are himself looking into a suspicious death. Officers were called to Metro Health Medical Center after a man dropped off an unconscious woman and then took off. The woman who later died, was identified as 27yearold nicole richards. Commuters who ride the rapid.
