NEW YORK, NY The state s largest coronavirus vaccination sites have officially opened their doors in Queens and Brooklyn.
The mass vaccination facilities set up at York College in Jamaica and Medgar Evers College in Crown Heights opened their doors at 8 a.m. Wednesday with a full schedule of appointments for residents of the surrounding ZIP codes and a celebratory press conference from Gov. Andrew Cuomo.
Both facilities are set to give out 3,000 vaccinations per day through a state-federal partnership to target areas that were hardest hit by the pandemic.
MTA Pilot Program to Add Bus Service from NYCHA Buildings to Mass COVID Vax Sites Beginning March 1, the MTA will launch a pilot to enhance bus services from Edgemere Houses in Queens and Pink Houses in Brooklyn to New York State-FEMA mass vaccination site at York College in Queens and Medgar Evers College in Brooklyn.
