The spirit of Christmas is alive and well at Eden Girls’ School, Slough where pupils, parents and staff have been working to make a better Christmas for people most in need. Students at the school in Bath Road organised collections and a range of activities as part of their annual Festive Winter Gift Programme. The school has been filled with collections of food and warm clothing donated to help the homeless. Parents also paid for new items of clothing specially requested by Slough Outreach and Connection Support. Staff and pupils at the school worked together to create hampers filled with treats that would bring comfort to people experiencing hardship over the winter season.

Pupils and staff at Eden Girls’ School in Waltham Forest teamed up with the German footballer’s charity Warmer Winters as part of the school’s annual Festive Winter Gift programme. Özil’s Warmer Winters campaign aims to provide 50,000 healthy meals and 10,000 gift packages to people in need over the course of one week between December 20 and 24.
