The Mercury provides news and fun every single day—but your help is essential. If you believe Portland benefits from smart, local journalism and arts coverage, please consider making a small monthly contribution, because without you, there is no us. Thanks for your support! Starting at 4 pm, a force of drag artists onstage at Darcelle XV Showplace—aided by the planning and logistics power of gender-nonconforming clothing line Wildfang—begin a marathon of continuous musical, dance, and comedy performances, nonstop for 48-hours, until they break the world record for longest drag performance. And the Mercury's Arts and Culture crew (Suzette Smith, Andrew Jankowski, Janey Wong, Wm. Steven Humphrey, Courtney Vaughn, and Taylor Griggs).
