A leading private higher education institution in Sabah, Jesselton College, will now be known as Jesselton University College (JUC).
Its President Datuk Dr Chin Yuk Fong said the upgrading came after the university received a certificate of approval presented by Higher Education Minister Datuk Seri Dr Noraini Binti Ahmad to JUC Corporate Advisor Prof Datin Dr Noor Hamizah Hanifah, accompanied by JUC Board of Director member Senator Dato’ Arman Azha Abu Hanifah
