Then they worked overnight. Still nothing. Then this morning. Finally a breakthrough. Two High School Teenagers found 10 year old andrew in the middle of a cornfield, they called 911. Moments later. A Police Officer walking out of the field with andrew on his shoulders. Heres the young boys mother earlier this afternoon. I mean its just unbelievable, and overwhelming, and amazing how many people showed up right away and sharing over 200 of andrews pictures and by wordofmouth. You know people complain about the social media but if you use it correctly it helped a lot. Lot. Overturn Brendan Dasseys murder conviction. Conviction. Dassey. Along with his uncle steven avery. Was convicted in the 2005 murder of teresa halbach. Its a case made famous by the Netflix Series making a murderer. Cbs 58s Kristen Barbaresi joins us live in studio with what happens next. Last month a judge ruled the state had to retry dassey or release him within 90 days. Well because the state is appealing that ruling. For now no retrial, and dassey stays in prison. Gets a new trial is now in the hands of the 7th Circuit Court of appeals in chicago where a panel of judges will hear oral arguments about whether or not dasseys confession was coerced.
