On Jan. 18, 2023, Eddie Belcher was killed in his Malden home. Kanawha County Sheriff s deputies are still investigating the case. Belcher s grandson, Brandon Justice, is hopeful for a resolution but disappointed in the initial response. Close friend Ben Salango described Belcher s passion for the Alum Creek community.
