Widnes school to welcome back pupils with new outdoor area A WIDNES school is ready to welcome back pupils with a new oasis of calm . During the current lockdown, a new outdoor area has been created at St Gerrard s RC Primary and Nursery. Ace Playground have worked their magic to create the space for the nursery and reception children. Assistant head teacher, Edd Naylor said: We are thrilled with the work that has been completed during the spring term. During this period of uncertainty, it is fantastic to see something incredibly positive come from this unsettling time. As we welcome back our children from Monday, we cannot wait to see their faces.
