NWFL: Angels win big, Gift grabs nine-minute hat-trick

Rivers Angels recorded the biggest win of matchday two of the Nigeria Women Football League with a comprehensive 6-2 victory over Delta Queens On Wednesday, The PUNCH reports.
The Port Harcourt-based side bounced back from their matchday one draw against Confluence Queens with a resounding performance against Delta Queens at the University of Port Harcourt Sports Institute pitch on Wednesday.
Oghenebrume Ikekhua bagged a brace in the opening 20 minutes before Angela Michael scored an own goal four minutes later to make it 3-0.
Dominance Odubanjo reduced the deficit for Delta Queens in the 28th minute and scored her second of the game nine minutes later to make score 3-2 but another own goal from Edafe Mamuzo and strikes from Deborah Abiodun and Cecilia Nku handed Rivers Angels a resounding win.
