Tonight s topic is Sniffing Volcanoes from Space. Carn studies carbon dioxide and sulfur dioxide emissions from volcanoes using remote sensing via satellite. This volcanic emissions information pulls together opportunities to improve monitoring of natural hazards, human health risks and climate processes one volcanic breath at a time.
