reporter: in the hours after keith s body was found, relatives frantically called that phone, desperate to get a voice on the other end. ed sheriff was shocked on monday when one of them hit pay dirt. he said, i just called keith reed s phone and somebody answered it. i said, what? that s a holy cow moment. oh, yeah. reporter: it turns out the person saying hello was a construction foreman on a bridge near harrisburg. the phone had been found on some scaffolding, which suggested to detectives someone in a car had tried to toss the phone into the river. it landed on a bridge deck that was had been set up to do repairs to the bridge. it was a very lucky break for us. what are the odds? one in a billion! reporter: while this recovered cell phone was on its way to the fbi lab, crime scene analysts spent the next day at keith reed s house, scouring the property for clues. district attorney david foley knew the clymer community, on edge about a school-related shooting, wa
committee? there are a few different things here, ed. ed: yeah, absolutely. he s talking specifically about bob goodlatte, the chairman, the republican chair of the house judiciary committee. he issued a subpoena, i believe, on march 22nd for a lot of these documents about the clinton investigation. what did the fbi know, what did the obama justice department know, and i think the public is demanding this information, some transparency. abby: he s saying there s 1.2 million documents that they should get from the fbi. they ve only so far gotten 3,000. the deadline was thursday at noon. ed: right. and people at the justice department are telling us, look, they are working around the clock, and and we re supposed to get maybe up to a million pages this coming week. so under pressure from the president and others, we may abby: and they re reading through them to redact what they find could be sensitive information. pete: that s right. i think there was resistance to releasing this infor
