KEY ACTION County Auditor Cindy Funk was authorized to release permissive tax funds to Loudonville in the amount of $75,200 for the paving and resurfacing of North Market Street. The project was approved after a recommendation from Engineer Ed Meixner.
Six departments had funds distributed to them, with the largest amount being the Loudonville street resurfacing project.

The Clerk of Courts, new computers $4,250
CARES Act, $15,000, contract services.
Food Service, $30,000, state remittance
Juvenile Felony Custody, $23,800, supplies and services
LEPC, $7,536, grant reimbursement for the Ashland Fire Department

New bids accepted until May 27
The new bids will be accepted until May 27 at 9:15 a.m.
“We have spent an enormous amount of time trying to get the right system and the right software in trying to get them to match up with what we have in,” said Justice. “What is there is 20 to 21 years old and this will bring us up to, as Denny would say, to the 21st century. We will be state of the art.”
“From a safety perspective they will be able to control the building 100 times better,” said Bittle. “It is over a million dollars. It is three physical units that have to communicate with each other, and that kind of restricts the companies that do that well.”
