Virtual consulting firm Centric expands to Southeast Michigan
Ed Heberlein
Management consulting firm Centric Consulting has chosen the greater Detroit area for its newest area of growth.
The Dayton, Ohio-based Centric operates primarily in a remote manner, meaning the firm does not take office space like many of its competitors. Rather, it predominately hires remote workers in a geographic location, largely based around client needs, according to Ed Heberlein, a Centric vice president and the Detroit market practice lead. So coming to Southeast Michigan was a very easy decision for us, Heberlein told Crain s in an interview. We have a very strong presence in the Midwest. So continuing to establish roots here in Detroit was a little bit of a no-brainer for us.
