The Cleveland Browns tied an NFL record for first-quarter points en route to a 48-37 win against the Pittsburgh Steelers in their AFC wild-card game Sunday.
The Browns jumped out to a 28-0 lead in a little more than 13 minutes against the Steelers to secure their first playoff victory since 1994. Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield threw three touchdowns to help set up a divisional-round matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs, the AFC’s No. 1 seed.
Cleveland will play Kansas City next Sunday at 3:05 p.m. ET, while the Buffalo Bills will host the Baltimore Ravens on Saturday at 8:15 p.m. ET.
The Titans failed to secure a playoff berth against the Packers, the Steelers rallied past the Colts to win the AFC North, and the Chiefs clinched the top seed.
