While clean up is still underway of the foot or so of snow that fell, local leaders in the Naugatuck Valley praised their employees for their efforts to get the roads clear.
“The Public Works crew is doing a phenomenal job,” said Ansonia Mayor David Cassetti. “I’m looking out the window now and seeing sun and blue skies. All I ask is that the residents give us a few more hours to clean up.”

NEW HAVEN, Conn. With many winter storms, communities across southern Connecticut tend to receive lesser amounts of snow due to precipitation mixing, but unless you live in the southeastern part of the state, that is not expected to be the case with this storm.
