The Fijian Government has distributed a total of 42,658 food ration, grocery, essential and household packs so far.
3,290 packs have been delivered to Fijians in home isolation in Lami/Suva/Nasinu/Nausori areas.
Around 13,158 grocery and essential packs (which includes 4335 new household packs) have been distributed to those in targeted lockdown and home isolation.
The Ministry of Economy Data Entry Team together with the Fiji Police Force are continuing with the electronic registration of household information and their needs for the households that are going into home isolation.

A Qauia resident looking after her children and elderly mother says she is hopeful that things will get better and feels she has a huge responsibility to protect their safe bubble as much as possible.
Meri Vutevute says many families in Qauia are feeling the pressure and have to struggle with what they have.

She says Qauia is a close knit community so residents have been doing what they can as well to help each other.
