GREENWOOD, Ind. – Aspire Economic Development and Chamber Alliance has announced that, in partnership with the Greenwood Economic Development Commission, it is conducting a study of remote workers in Greenwood. “We’re asking residents if they’re working from home, how long they expect to do so, and what types of local businesses they are utilizing during this period,” explained Aspire Vice President of Economic Development Amanda Rubadue. “We want to know how many residents are working remotely and the impact it has on services such as broadband, parks, and even the local coffee shops.” She added that site selectors from companies looking into locating in Greenwood have started asking for information about residents working remotely during the COVID pandemic.
