He also revealed that only 39 percent of travelers who arrived in the state last month, April, were able to be traced while 61 percent were untraceable to date in the curtailment efforts against COVID-19 in the state. Abayomi, disclosed this on Tuesday, during the 2021 ministerial press briefing to commemorate the second year in office of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu-led administration held at Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos.

As Nigeria experiences economic meltdown on account of the COVID-19 globalpandemic, the pharmaceutical industry is not spared, as prices of essential medications increase above 30 per cent. ADEBAYO FOLORUNSHO-FRANCIS reports
A middle-aged woman, Mrs. Bola Ishola, stood in front of the pharmacy at Ebute Metta Health Centre haggling over prices of the drugs she was prescribed. Her action drew murmurs and grumbles from patients and relatives waiting on the queue.
When our correspondent accosted her as she made to leave the premises, the 50-year-old showed her prescription bill,saying the price of the drugs were beyond her expectations.
