Not the normal convention. It is not a normal time. Want to talk as plainly as i can about the stakes in this election. In these nexte do 76 days will echo through generations to come. Where theiladelphia, constitution was drafted and signed. It was not a perfect document. It allowed for the inhumanity of slavery. And failed to guarantee women and even men who did not own property, the right to participate in the political process. But, embedded in this document was a northstar that would die guide future generations. A system of representative government. Couldcracy to which we better realize our highest ideals. War, bitterl struggles, we improved this constitution to include the voices of those who had once been left out. And gradually we made this country more just. And more equal. And more free. The one Constitutional Office elected by all the people is the president. At a minimum, we should expect a president to feel a response ability for the safety and welfare of all 330 million
