(Photos provided by Eaton County Sheriff s Department) Authorities in Eaton County are looking to identify a man that broke into a home in Bellevue Township earlier this week. The Sheriff’s Department posted video surveillance and still images of a man that got inside of a home during the overnight hours and fled on foot. The photos were posted on the Department s Facebook page on April 29 th. ECSO is asking for the public s help again today. We recognize the pics and video are not the best. This white male.

Delta Twp deaths of 2 kids, father now being investigated as homicide

DELTA TWP.  The Eaton County Sheriff s Department said they are now investigating the deaths of two children and their father in Delta Township as a murder.  Early reports from the sheriff s office indicated the April 13 deaths of 47-year-old Joseph Lechleitner, 5-year-old Vivian Zwick and 3-year-old Anson Zwick were the result of a murder-suicide.  The sheriff s office said Tuesday the deaths are now being investigated as a murder, according to a press release.  Police were called to a home on Old River Trail in Delta Township at about 11 p.m. April 13 for a report of a shooting, according to the sheriff s office. They found Vivian and Lechleitner dead in the home and Anson in critical condition. Anson died the next day from injuries sustained in the shooting. 

MSP – Two breaking and entering suspects arrested in Calhoun County

Michigan State Police - File photo CALHOUN COUNTY, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Two suspects, both accused of breaking and entering, are in custody following an arrest that was made Saturday. The Michigan State Police (MSP) Marshall Post investigated a breaking and entering of multiple storage sheds in 22000 block of O Drive North in Lee Township, where various tools, equipment, fuel and other construction equipment were stolen. This incident was reported by the homeowners on April 24 around 1:30 p.m. After leaving the scene, troopers were notified that the suspects returned to the area, but were confronted by the homeowners and left the scene. An area broadcast was immediately put out by dispatch describing the suspects and their vehicle.
