With none of the general public or usual lobbyists present, lawmakers worked to make up for time lost in the 2020 session, which ended early during the start of the pandemic. “We’re sending a strong and clear message: While we may have disagreements on certain issues, we can work together in a bipartisan way for the people of Maryland,” Gov. Larry Hogan, R, said during a bill signing Tuesday with House Speaker Adrienne Jones, D-Baltimore County, and Senate President Bill Ferguson, D-Baltimore.
