“我小时候特别喜欢看动画片，正是动画片中的古典音乐带我认识并走进了这个神奇的音乐世界。我特别希望把这些特别经典的主题音乐用钢琴弹出来，让大家看到钢琴也能把动画片的旋律演绎得这么有趣。” 北京时间9月14日上午，钢琴家郎朗在位于美国加州圣塔莫尼卡的环球音乐集团总部，通过视频连线的方式向媒体分享了即将于9月16日发行的新专辑《郎朗的迪士尼》的幕后故事。为了呈现出不一样的经典旋律，郎朗和团队花了三年半时间筹备，在上海、纽约、伦敦、巴黎等6座城市录制这张新专辑，呈现27首经典作品。郎朗坦言，为了做好这张专辑倾尽心力，“这次我希望让大家听到不一样的演绎，所以对这些经典曲目进行了很多改编，有些作品听起来像格什温，有些作品像德彪西，希望大家都能找到自己的菜。”
