LIVE: Fire crews tackling blaze at industrial unit Five crews were sent from across the city just after 2.30am Northumberland Street (Google) Five fire crews from across Leicester have been sent to deal with a fire in an industrial unit near Sanvey Gate. Crews received multiple calls from passers-by and police to a fire in Northumberland Street at 2.32am. Two crews from Eastern Station, one from Western Station and two from Central Station were dispatched. Just before 4am Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service confirmed the fire is still ongoing. People have been advised to avoid the area and keep windows and doors closed.
