Here in central iowa, we were warm enough for just rain with about 1 4 of rain today. Our temperatures should stay above freezing in the metro most of the night with a few rain or snow showers possible. Most of the showers will be metro later tonight, so our chances are looking good for decent roads come Tuesday Morning in the metro. However, it will be cold enough by morning in most areas to freeze up any moisture that is left over or falling from the sky. I dont think we will have much precipitation tuesday, but a few snow showers will be possibly mainly late in the day.
