The san Martin Airport is here. The plane landed here which means they had to tow it northbound, exit the freeway and get back on the other direction for a total distance of 4 1 2 miles. What a drive it turned out to be. The pickup truck towing the plane went at about the pace of a leisurely stroll. When it came time to merge back on the freeway, the chp ran a traffic break and yes, the backup was horrendous.
