CLEVELAND, Ohio The Cleveland Cavaliers came into this season with a specific plan.
It would be three young core pieces Darius Garland, Collin Sexton and Isaac Okoro surrounded and supported by former All-Stars Kevin Love and Andre Drummond in the starting lineup. Along with that, the Cavs brought back Matthew Dellavedova and acquired JaVale McGee in a trade two battle-tested veterans expected to provide stability for an unproven second unit. The Cavs also had Larry Nance Jr., the Swiss Army knife capable of playing almost any position and doing whatever needed on a given night.
