A longtime performer with the drag troupe the Armorettes was among nine people arrested during a prostitution sting in Fayette County last week.
Anthony Mark Blackmon, 43, was arrested March 25 during a police operation at a hotel near Highway 54 in Fayetteville. Police charged him with prostitution and two counts of ID fraud. He was booked into the Fayette County Jail and released the next day.
Blackmon performs as Autumn Skyy and is among six cast members of the Armorettes, according to its website. The non-profit has raised funds for HIV organizations for more than four decades. Skyy has appeared with the group during annual reunion specials, its infamous Easter Drag Races, Armory remembrances and anniversary celebrations for other performers.
