Enterprise Ecological Park New Year’s Day walk The Salina Journal ENTERPRISE A New Year’s Day walk will begin at 9 a.m. Friday, Jan. 1, at the Enterprise Ecological Park, 400 E. First Street in Enterprise. Community members can social distance, take in the sights and get some exercise with over 3/4-mile trails with Rice Creek running through the middle of the foliage. Experience over 50 varieties of trees and scrubs. The trail features the 6th largest Easter Cottonwood tree in Kansas, located near the entrance, two bridges and a lookout point. A variety of birds, deer, and other wildlife have been spotted feel free to bring your camera or binoculars.
