30-year-old man suffers life-threatening injuries in Worcester shooting, police say

A 30-year-old man has suffered life-threatening injuries after being shot in Worcester Thursday night, police said Friday afternoon.
Officers were dispatched to the area of East Worcester Street around 10:30 p.m. after a ShotSpotter activation, according to a statement from police.
The officers found the victim suffering a gunshot wound. They assisted the victim at the scene before he was taken to the hospital, police said.
