Wharton Industrial announced it leased a 279,256-square-foot industrial warehouse in East Windsor to BlueTriton Brands Inc., formerly known as Nestle Waters North America.
The New York City-based subsidiary of Wharton Equity Partners bought the property at 18 Craftsman Road in October. The 42-year-old property features 18- to 20-foot ceilings, 5,000 square feet of office space and more than 300 parking spaces.
Plans are in the works to transform a vacant warehouse in an East Windsor industrial park into a major shipping and distribution facility, the latest in a slew of projects aiming to capitalize on Greater Hartford’s proximity to Interstates 84 and 91 and Bradley International Airport.
In a statement, Wharton Industrial, a platform of New York City-based real estate investment firm Wharton Equity Partners, announced it has acquired the 279,256-square-foot warehouse at 18 Craftsman Road in a joint venture with Boston’s Long Wharf Capital.
