EAST WILTON On Saturday, March 20, 2021, the Masonic Group at the Harland M. Harnden Masonic Building, 70 Bryant Road, East Wilton, ME will be offering a pickup/takeout supper from 5-6 p.m. The menu will consist of baked chicken, potatoes, vegetables, rolls and blueberry cake for dessert. The cost of meals for adults is $9, for those under the age of 12 the cost will be $5. We would appreciate reservations for meals by 5 p.m. on Thursday, March 18. Free Fishing License Week opens Feb. 13
AUGUSTA Free Fishing License Week – Saturday, Feb. 13, to Sunday, Feb. 21 – was created to give everyone a chance to try ice fishing.
On these days, any person (except those whose license has been suspended or revoked) who registers with the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife may fish without a license. All other laws and regulations apply on these days. Nonresidents and residents may participate.
Those who plan to participate in the Free Fishing License Week must register online. Ages 15 and younger do not need to register.

The Maine CDC published numbers on Dec. 29 showing that the state’s infection fatality rate (IFR) is 1.7%. That is, our survivability rate is 98.3%.
