Liddington Manor Wroughton: The Science Museum, which has storage facilities for documents and artefacts in hangars at Wroughton airfield, has been given permission to demolish an old boiler house, and the brick-built air traffic control tower at the site. The boiler building is near the main entrance at Red Barn Gate on Devizes Road, and the traffic control tower is towards the western edge of the site near the hangar used by Swindon Karting Arena. Liddington: James Buchanan has put in a proposal for a comprehensive set of changes to Liddington Manor in the village south west of Wanborough. The Grade II listed 17th century manor house could see a number of changes, including removal of modern addition and fixtures in the kitchen, such as a floating ceiling and partition between pantry and main kitchen.
